About Wellness & Resilience Coaching

Coaching is a person-centred approach to helping you make changes. This means that you, your situation, your preferences, your hopes, and your aspirations are at the centre of every session.

 

During a session, we will focus on a goal, a concern, an issue, a change, a challenge, or an improvement you hope to tackle.

 

Additionally, unlike psychotherapy, where you may wish to explore past events and gain an understanding of how they impact you today, we focus on the present and practical actions, employing creative problem-solving, although we might discuss your thinking patterns or strongly held beliefs.

You will determine what you hope to gain from the experience, and together we will work to build your internal and external resources to help you achieve extraordinary things.

Resources such as building your confidence, or confidence in your decisions, reducing worry or anxiety, identifying what drives you and brings you a sense of purpose and meaning, exploring new ways of incorporating healthier habits into your week, reviewing barriers and mitigating for future obstacles.

Our wellness is influenced by many areas of our lives, and at different times, we may find that one area requires more of our attention than others. We often know what we hope to achieve; however, internal and/or external influences can cause us to veer off our desired path.
